Walt Disney Animation Studios Part 8: Make Mine Music

Series Intro: Here's Part 8 of this multi-part retrospective of Walt Disney Animation Studios' endeavors. They'll mostly be in release date order, save for those that aren't available on DVD at Netflix. (Numbers will be skipped to note missing movies)

Some background info (compiled from Wikipedia and imdb and my own knowledge of the movie).

Official Title: Make Mine Music
Release: August 15, 1946
Running Time: 75 minutes
Estimated Cost: Can't find any figures
Estimated Revenue: No info available
Overall Rating: 1 stars out of 5

Plot Summary: Music, music and more music

Shorts:
I honestly don't remember enough of it, to remember which ones were which.

Songs:
There were a lot, but none of them were stand-out-ish

Plot Rating: 1 stars out of 5

Knowing that the war was still on in Europe (and at this point on the Asian front too), this series of shorts was still bad. Each segment might have had it's own merit, but for me, Plot includes the story from beginning to end.

Animation Rating: 2 out of 5

There were a lot of greatly animated scenes here, but none that stand out one week after watching.

The Test of Time:

Yet another miss for WDAS. Grant it, this was only supposed to hold over the studio department until the end of the war, but this is one that I will never need to see again.

Next Up:
(Should be) Fun and Fancy Free (another "shorts" movie) (but I saw Cinderella recently so that's up next)
